get help using our Live Homework Help! service.

 

SUMMER 2010

West Hempstead residents are given preference to children's programs. Please present your library card when registering. Non-residents will be put on a wait list. Proof of birthday is required for new preschoolers. All programs begin at the designated times.

 

Any child from birth to entering Grade 5 is invited to join the Summer Reading Club in the Children’s Room. Sign up for reading fun with prizes, programs, guessing games and—if you complete the club—a certificate and more.

Help your children improve their math and reading skills. You'll find study tools and practice tests here.
Register using a library barcode as your username and create a password at least 6 characters long to make each student's Learning Center private.

Please keep all sick children home for the sake of your child and others.

We are glad you and your young children enjoy the library and come here often. Please remember that it is a public place and anyone may come in. For this reason, the West Hempstead Public Library Board of Trustees established the policy that no child under the age of ten may be unattended.
