February 6: Go Red and Choose to Move

2008Feb1Staff.jpg Last year the West Hempstead Public Library staff participated in National Wear Red Day to support heart disease awareness for women.

On February 6, 2009 we will again join the Go Red For Women movement to fight the causes of heart disease, the No. 1 killer of women in America.

This year, we are encouraging our staff and the library community to sign up for Choose To Move, a 12 week program for women who want to make a change in their lifestyle and become more physically active.
