Singer and actress Patti Lupone and TV personality TIm Gunn will both be at the Book Revue in Huntington this week to talk about their new books.
Lupone will sign her new book, "Patti Lupone: A Memoir" tonight at 7 p.m. Patti was one of only 36 young actors chosen for the first class of Julliard School's Drama Division. In her book she writes about her success on Broadway, her acting career on the TV show "Life Goes On" and her marriage to Matt Johnston. Lupone is a two-time Tony winner and the first American actor to win Britian's Olivier Award.
Tim Gunn, host of the TV show Project Runway, will speak about and sign his new book "Gunn's Golden Rules: Life's Little Lessons for Making it Work" on Wednesday, September 22 at 7 p.m. In his book, Gunn shares his secrets for success in careers, relationships and life. He also shares information about fashion's greatest divas and Runway's biggest drama queens.
Tim will greet and sign books for the first 200 people who purchase a of copy of his new book. For those not in the first 200, signed copies will be available for purchase the night of the event.
