Baldacci, King bestsellers available November 9

New books by David Baldacci and Stephen King will be available on Tuesday, NOVEMBER 9.

"Hell's Corner," by David Baldacci, is the fifth book in the Camel Club series. On the night of a State Dinner honouring the British Prime Minister, there is an explosion as the Prime Minister's motorcade leaves the White House. Oliver Stone witnesses the event. In the aftermath of the explosion, British MI-5 agent Mary Chapman, an operative with an agenda of her own, is sent to assist and coordinate the investigation along with the American authorities. Stone, along with the rest of the Camel Club, is drawn into the investigation. Everything is not what it appears and what happened may not have been the actual plan.

"Full Dark, No Stars," by Stephen King, is a collection of four stories linked together by the theme of retribution. In the first tale, when James' wife Arlette proposes selling off the family homestead and moving to Omaha, it sets in motion a gruesome train of murder and madness. In the second story a cozy-mystery writer named Tess is violated and left for dead and decides to seek her revenge. In the third tale, making a deal with the devil saves Harry Streeter from a fatal cancer and provides recompense for a lifetime of resentment. In the final story, when her husband is away on a business trip, Darcy Anderson looks for batteries in the garage. When her toe knocks up against a box under a worktable, she makes a horrifying discovery.
